uNaice is pleased about the award as a family-friendly company

(Gütersloh, November 2019) uNaice is innovative not only in terms of text and content automation solutions for its customers, but also in terms of family friendliness. This is proven by the award of the Gütersloh region, which uNaice has just received. In the „Familie gewinnt 2019 (‚Family wins‘)“ competition, uNaice GmbH was awarded the special prize „neue Wege, innovative Lösungen (’new ways, innovative solutions‘)“ for the company’s particularly family-friendly organisation. The company headquarters of uNaice are in Werther.

Home office, co-working and flexible part-time solutions

However, only three of the 13 permanent employees and other freelancers work there on a regular basis – consistent digitalisation of internal processes makes this possible. The rest of the work is entirely realised via virtual collaboration platforms and cloud software. The employees thus have a family-friendly, maximally flexible „Digital Nomad Workplace“. When and where they work, whether in their home office in Berlin, in the co-working Space in Munich or in Alsace, in the garden or at the headquarters, is up to them. Various forms of part-time work are possible. Temporary working time adjustments and re-entry are therefore very easy.

Proper family-friendly planning and digital set-up

It is obvious that this working method requires a special kind of planning and discipline. The projects are secured by foresighted planning and fall-back solutions. Jour-fixes are the virtual ‚Monday Stand-Up Meetings‘ in which projects, planning and private matters are discussed, which promotes team spirit. At least once a year all employees meet on site for a week.

The awards to filoo GmbH, SYNAXON AG, the Hagedorn Group, Foss&Haas GmbH, TEKAWE GmbH and uNaice were presented by the Gütersloh District Administrator (‚Landrat‘) Sven-Georg Adenauer. Marita Reinkemeier, consultant of the regional economic development agency pro Wirtschaft GT, motivated the executives and employees of the companies present accordingly: „Make sure that there are good communication channels so that everyone is taken along, new ideas can flow in and the cooperation in the job, family and care can succeed.“ The uNaice team will be happy to advise companies that want to live family-friendly and digitalise just as successfully and consistently – for example in the context of our Rent-a-CDO offer.
